5 Most Underused Microsoft 365 Features: #1 Bookings

At this point Microsoft 365 has been around for over 10 years, and it is constantly evolving, with new features being added (and old ones retired).  But that means a lot of people don't even know about included features that could save them time or increase their productivity, or both.

In this short series we're going to highlight some of the features that are available FREE with a Microsoft 365 business subscription, but that people are not using, or worse, needlessly paying for elsewhere.

This week we're tackling meeting scheduling, which is an arduous task at the best of times. 😫

You know what I mean...  first you check your calendar and send some available times, they inevitably say no and send back theirs, then you check and send more, and eventually (eventually!) you agree on a time and send them an invite, which they still have to accept. Wow, that's a lot of time wasted just to schedule a meeting! ⏱

Enter Microsoft Bookings which is included with most Microsoft 365 plans at no no-extra-cost. You just create one or more meeting types for yourself (or your team), for example: Quick Meeting, 15 minutes, hosted on Teams, Wednesdays only. Then just send your contacts the bookings link and let them pick an available time slot - it instantly goes onto both calendars and sends you a notification.

It's great for all sorts of use cases where someone outside your organization needs to book time with you - customers/clients, vendors, suppliers, the list goes on.

Voila, problem solved! ✅
